Sexuality: heterosexual with slight bisexual tendencies

Appearance: Sora is of average height for someone of his age and, though not super-muscled, his body is lean and well-toned from the countless battles he's been in. His hands and feet are still a little large and gawky, though not nearly as much as when he was younger. He likes to take this as a sign that he'll grow taller. His hair is a messy brown mop that sticks out at odd angles, but he likes it because he doesn't have to worry about it much. Sora's eyes are a deep, piercing blue and very expressive; he hasn't yet learned to hide his emotions, so his eyes broadcast his thoughts for all to see. His skin has a permanent tan from the years spent living on the Destiny Islands.

Sora's clothes are predominantly black. His black shorts end just below his knees, and the legs can be cinched closed. He wears large red cargo pockets held in place by yellow straps over his shorts. His shirt is dark blue with a red kangaroo pocket in front, over which he wears a cropped black jacket with short sleeves and white trim. The only armor he wears is a pair of light shoulder pads. He also wears fingerless gloves to keep his hands from blistering while wielding the Keyblade. His shoes are black and yellow, and while they look like they're too big, they actually fit very well.

Canon deviation: Sora found his new clothes laid out for him upon awakening from Naminé's pod. He doesn't know where they came from, or what special powers they have (if any).

Personality: For the most part, Sora is cheerful and optimistic. Most of the time he has a smile on his face, and he will do his best to cheer others up when they are down. He is determined to see things through to the end (almost to the point of pigheadedness) and has great faith in others and the power of Light. He is very loyal to his friends and would never betray any of them. However, despite his kind and generous personality, Sora can be naïve and slow at times. That doesn't mean he's stupid; he's merely slow to pick up on things unless they're spelled out for him.

Abilities/Weaponry: As the Keyblade Master, Sora can summon the Keyblade to his hand whenever he wishes. It's impossible for someone to steal the Keyblade from Sora as long as his heart is strong. Over a year of fighting the Heartless has made Sora adept at fighting, and he can hold his own in combat against several opponents. He is also physically fit and can run, dodge, jump, climb, etc. better than most boys his age.

Sora also knows several magic spells. He can summon bolts of lightning to strike opponents, shoot balls of fire and ice, and create a protective whirlwind of dust around him. Sora can magically heal most wounds as well, though he can't reattach or regrow severed limbs, and he can't revive people from the dead without a Phoenix Down.

Weaknesses: Sora's trusting nature means he can be easily tricked or manipulated, unless it's blatantly obvious that someone is deceiving him. It also takes him a while to put two and two together, so he doesn't always realize the entire situation. His stubbornness can get him into trouble as well.

Because he places so much faith in his friends, Sora would simply refuse to believe that one of his friends betrayed him, even if it were true. When (or if) the truth finally sank in, Sora would be absolutely crushed. The emotional damage would affect his ability to fight and think rationally.

Threatening his friends with bodily harm can also be used to manipulate Sora. He will do nearly anything to save those he cares for, especially Riku and Kairi. The fact that he hasn't seen either of them for a long time compounds the issue.

History: Sora grew up on the idyllic Destiny Islands. He knew nothing of outside worlds, and didn't really care much either. As long as he was with his friends, he was happy. However, that all changed when the Heartless invaded his world. His world destroyed and separated from his friends, Sora found himself lost and confused with a new responsibility on his shoulders: that of the Keyblade Master.

It wasn't long before Sora met Donald and Goofy, and the three traveled between worlds to fight off the Heartless and defend the worlds' hearts. Throughout that time, Sora also searched for his friends. To his dismay, he discovered that Kairi's heart had been stolen and Riku had turned to the side of Darkness.

After many battles and adventures, Sora was able to defeat Ansem, who had possessed Riku, and restore Kairi's heart. However, in the end Riku was trapped inside Kingdom Hearts with King Mickey, the source of all hearts, while Kairi was sent back to the Destiny Islands. Sora, Goofy, and Donald continued to travel the worlds, this time in search of Riku and Mickey. It was then they were unknowingly led to Castle Oblivion by the Organization.

Inside Castle Oblivion, Sora's memories were manipulated and rearranged by Naminé, the Memory Witch. He forgot about Kairi and most of his friends while wandering the halls, but he did not fall prey to Marluxia and Larxene's plot to use him for their own devices. Instead, he killed them (and several other members of the Organization) before learning that Naminé had essentially brainwashed him. To make amends, Naminé offered to restore Sora, Goofy, and Donald's memories, but they would forget Castle Oblivion and all that had transpired there. Sora decided to go through with the process, but promised to Naminé that he'd somehow remember to thank her.

It took a full year for all of Sora's memories to be completely restored. When Sora emerged from the pod Naminé had constructed, he found himself in the middle of a thick forest. A new set of clothes to replace the ones he'd outgrown lay folded nearby, but otherwise there was no sign of anyone. Lost and confused, Sora wandered through the wilderness until he found the massive gates of Paixao.
